Why Take Music?

Ever wondered if you should learn music and play an instrument? Well, don't hesitate to.

Music is a wonderfull thing to study, or to do as a profession, eg. Pianist, Composer, etc.

Music learns one how to communicate through your soul. When you play that piano, or any other instrument, you can pour out all your emotions, and take away any depression or sadness left in your heart.

"When words can't speak, music does"

Music is like a second language to me. It is the language of my soul.

According to Dr. Nina Kraus’s work with the Harmony Project, students who are involved in music are not only more likely to graduate high school, but also to attend college as well.

Students in high-quality school music programs score higher on standardized tests compared to students in schools with deficient music education programs, regardless of the socioeconomic level of the school or school district.

See the image attached for some short facts.

I am planning on studying for BMus in 2018, for I want to be teaching music theory and would love to become a local pianist.
